Job purpose
This is an important time for OIEG as we develop and grow the University partnerships division. As a result, we are looking to bring in a candidate who can lead, advise on and implement actions on a number of aspects of quality assurance. 
The role will be the main contact for all quality assurance activity in Academic Affairs, University Partnerships. Reporting to the Director of Learning, Teaching and Academic Affairs, the postholder will manage a number of areas such as QAA reviews, UKVI audits, OfS registration as well as quality assurance with our embedded colleges/pathway colleges. 
The postholder will be details focused and analytical in their approach to review and preparation /submission of documents to support reviews and audits. In addition, they will be an excellent communicator and be able to manage key relationships both internally and with our partners. They will also be part of the academic board and support the development of quality assurance training across the organisation.
Main duties and responsibilities
Main duties
Supports the UP division with the design, development and review of QA policies and related documentation
Be the key contact for all quality assurance matters
Advise and prepare documents/reports for University Partnerships staff to support quality assurance matters
Project lead and review all documents, submissions and ongoing schedules for QAA, UKVI and any other such reviews/audits
Supports and directs OIEG in preparation for such reviews/audits as well as prepare for future-proofing for the following reports or annual reviews
Keeps up-to-date with current trends and changes to OfS and QAA
Supports all UP division (and potentially wider HE across OIEG) activity with review of documents, ToRs, policies, etc.
Support a range of entities (such as embedded colleges, pathway colleges and London campus activity) by reviewing documentation and providing suitable responses/reports to support key business growth/development
Participate in partner university activity such as periodic provision reviews, institutional re-approval events, etc.
Participate in the Academic board, providing any reports and information as required
Any other duties linked to the remit the role allocated by the Director of Learning, Teaching & Academic Affairs 
Relationship management
Build strong working relationships with OIEG college (etc) staff including Academic Directors, College Managers and College Directors
Have the ability to persuade internal stakeholders of the benefits of reviews/audits to achieve a positive approach and outcome
Be a member of and report to the academic board
Work alongside internal stakeholders on aspects such as UKVI audits for compliance
Build strong working relationships with our partner universities in order to support OIEG business requirements

Significant experience in quality assurance role E 
Understanding of the HE sector governance and quality assurance (i.e. OfS and QAA reviews)  E 
Knowledge of review processes from a quality assurance organisation such as QAA, OfSted, ISI, British Council or a university / college  E 
Knowledge of Ms Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams  E 
Experience of a teaching or administrative role within an HE or FE faculty/school  D
Experience of working with international students  D
