Description
The Associate Director of Quality, Performance, & Digital Experience devises an effective strategy for executing and delivering software quality initiatives with an emphasis on user experience. The Associate Director of Quality, Performance, & Digital Experience requires a solid understanding of how software quality is measured, improved, and the techniques available to optimize performance.
Responsibilities
The Associate Director of Quality, Performance, & Digital Experience acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and technology stakeholders to identify and deliver enhanced quality of software products. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within technology teams and products, and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates. This opportunity will have a mixed team of 5 associates and 20 contractors.
Join the Clinical IT Core Platform team as we pioneer and refine the primary technology solution underpinning Humana's Enterprise Clinical Operating Model in support of our clinicians and the Humana members they serve. Partner with Clinical Technology & Capabilities, clinical product delivery teams, architects, and other key stakeholders to orient on rapid delivery of new features and value with a focus on quality via testing automation, performance engineering, and digital user experience. Build confidence in the platform's architecture and specifications via proactive test automation and user experience measurement and optimization. Streamline the delivery process in a scaled agile environment by incorporating industry leading practices and challenging the status quo. Ruthlessly champion the user experience by working to set and maintain service level agreements for products leveraging the Core Platform.
Required Qualifications
Technically savvy individual with background in measuring and monitoring application performance from an user-experience perspective
Ability to communicate on both technical and non-technical topics with peers and executives
Track record for innovation with automation, particularly as applicable to testing at scale and resulting quality improvements for a product
Displayed agility working in a distributed environment with multiple product owners and product teams
Possess 10 years of progressive experience leading continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing systems and implementing process improvements, including 6 or more years of technical experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
2 or more years experience leading large technical projects
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading within Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Experience managing hosted or cloud applications
Demonstrated success in collaborating with vendor resourcing partners to define shared goals and metrics
