Job Description
This is a Hybrid position within our IT Organization. The role will allow employees to work offsite but will also require onsite work based on business needs. The selected candidate will be expected to commute to the innovation center to which they are assigned as their primary GM facility.This position requires an employee to be onsite 1-3 times per week.

The Connected Consumer Customer and Mobility Solutions organization develops, in an Agile/SAFe environment, the technologies enabling a new generation of connected vehicles worldwide. This includes call centers located in multiple countries backed by two world class data centers. Our technology is a key enabler to things like smarter car sharing programs, driver customization opportunities, and advanced active safety systems including autonomous driving. These capabilities exist through the largest implementation of 4G LTE in the automotive industry which enables the capture of massive amount of vehicle data to our Big Data platform. What We Do
This position will be responsible for testing mobile apps for GM's Connected Ecosystems Integration organization. It will include test case creation, driving test case execution, and accountability for quality defect management. The role will also entail providing triage support for application issues during early releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Creates test cases during Sprint Planning sessions for all global regions that offer applications.
Accountable for ensuring all requirements are clear and have a documented test cases to appropriately validate all release content.
Working in an Agile environment, validate story acceptance criteria to ensure they are documented and achievable. Technical knowledge of end-to-end system components (Mobile App and/or Infotainment) and how they integrate together.
Calibrate with developers to resolve issues during story level validation.
Works with some supervision within Development Teams to deliver release content.
Work cross-functionally across the organization to resolve issues impacting/blocking testing as needed.
Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings.
Additional Job Description
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
1 years of professional experience.
Background with testing tools such as Jira, TFS.
Ability to author, update test-cases.
Good understanding Android, iOS ,Java , and JavaScript.
Desired Skills:
Masters degree.
Knowledge of testing automation / experience in test-case automation.
Knowledge of vehicle infotainment systems.
Experience with wireless (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Cellular) systems.
Experience with unit testing tools.
Knowledge of Perfecto Mobile Test Automation Tool
