Seeking a strong Quality Assurance Analyst with Siebel experience for a large mortgage and title company in the galleria area. Our client is looking for independent and strong resources immediately. Responsibilities:
• Participate in the planning of QA scheduling, planning and development test strategies/test plans and the development of test cases.

• Coordinate testing activities of the development team associated with the assigned project.

• Design and execute manual and/or automated test plans and test scripts

• Work closely with business analysts to convert business requirements into test plans and test cases.

• Work closely with software developers to develop test specifications and build test cases to rigorously test product functionality and investigate all potential product test failures.

• Conduct System testing and integration testing

• Prepare test data to fulfill test plans and to fulfill test scenarios designed for each specific test

• Assist in all testing phases.

• Verify completeness and readiness of test environment for testing.

• Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements:
• Experience in all aspects of software testing including Quality Assurance Standards, QA methods, and QA documentation.

• Demonstrate experience writing test cases and performing black box, white box, and regression testing.

• 4 years of experience as a quality assurance engineer, designing, writing & implementing test plans.

• 2 years testing Siebel 7.8 or above experience

• Demonstrate experience with defect tracking tools such as TFS

• Hands-on Experience developing Siebel Functional and Data driven test plans, test cases, ability to isolate problems and drive them to resolution

• Experience with Quick Test Pro (QTP), Quality center or similar automated testing tool

• Prefer - Hands-on experience testing Siebel views, applets, VBCs, EIM, CTI Toolbar, web services, workflows, and other automation components

• Experience in client/server technologies, various OS(s) such as Microsoft Windows XP & Vista, along with a working knowledge of testing tools and databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.

• Completion of undergraduate degree in Business or Systems related fields or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a quality assurance role which includes experience in all aspects of software testing

• Minimum of 2 years testing Seibel 7.8 or above experience
