Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be checking in with a team in India one minute, meeting with leadership to review initiatives for the coming quarter later and tomorrow handling a few ad hoc requests from your peers in other departments.

Influence and inspire confidence. You are comfortable presenting to senior leaders, product owners, and peers with a compelling voice that you demonstrate through executive presence, leading change, and creating clear executive-level communications on milestone achievements.

Responsibilities. Engage in software application testing activities to ensure that developed software meets the stated requirements. Certify software for functionality, load and performance, usability, and conformance with technical standards. Participate in software test planning, test case/script design, test systems/subsystems, test automation development, test case development, test execution, and defect fix validation. Work with developers and technical support in the resolution of software defects. Design test strategies, test scripts, and automated procedures for functional and performance testing of software applications. Document and analyze software test results and suggest issue resolutions.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

Education and Experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related Engineering discipline, or a related field plus eight (8) years of related experience.

Work Experience. Two (2) years of experience must include: Agile methodologies, including Rally or Jira; Testing web-based software applications; SQL and database management software, including TOAD or SQLPLUS; Testing web services using SOAP UI, Ready API or Postman; Designing and implementing TDD/BDD approaches using Cucumber, Gherkins, Java, TestNG, and Selenium; Installing and configuring Java, Maven, Git, BitBucket, and Eclipse IDE; and Data formats, including XML and JSON.
