This position provides patients with highly technical mammographic procedures including the application of prescribed ionizing radiation and administering contrast agents/medications for radiological diagnosis. This position is also responsible to complete required paperwork and documentation for the ACR/FDA accreditation and re-accreditation process for the medical center. This position may also be responsible for all aspects of quality assurance in the downtown clinic and for overseeing the Quality Assurance programs at the satellites.','!*!
This position requires a Washington State License as a Radiologic Technologist.
Certificate from the American Registry of Radiological Technology including mammography.
Minimum one year experience in Diagnostic Radiology (or two years at VM as a student tech).
24 hours of continuing medical education are required every two years.
CPR license to be renewed every two years.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology.
Strong organizational skills.
Willingness to grow with technological changes occurring in the field.
Ability to manage stressful situations appropriately.
Ability to attend to multiple tasks and work independently.
Ability to be versatile and flexible.
Preferred is two years of experience in mammography.
