Aon is looking for a Quality Assurance Professional!The Test Engineer will be accountable for providing testing, enhancement, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our software applications. As well as creating automated audit tools used to supervise daily system functions. Healthy Paws is a top-rated pet health insurance company, headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. This position is eligible for onsite or remote work.What you'll do:Troubleshoot and resolve issues based on existing technology in a rapid and high quality manner.Identify, troubleshoot and debug defects in designated application codeCreate and run test plans, test cases, and automated testsCommunicate amazingly well in both verbal (day-to-day discussions, team meetings) and written form (user stories) with team members and stakeholders.Become a SME for compliance related topics like filed forms and timingsBuild automated monitors that audit the daily system functionsOwn technology value beyond just test and maintenance by providing sound consultation and feedback to stakeholders and team members.Handle organizational change well in a changing environment and rapidly growing industry.Play well with others as a critical teammate in a small engineering team with a well-described product backlog and be comfortable with various SDLC methodologies and practiceWork with the Technology Solutions Team to craft, develop and document integration methods in a timely fashionWhat we need (minimum requirements):Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with commercial application softwareExperience integrating with Salesforce and .NET frameworks preferredExperience with automated testing, Selenium preferredAbility to think through a process end to end, consider systemic relationships, and what-if scenariosAbility to work independently and as a team memberOutstanding verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of management, staff and customersUnderstanding of version control systemsWhat we’d love (preferred requirements):B.S.
