Nowadays, having a well functioning quality assurance department is becoming the need and necessity of all business organizations. A simple definition of quality assurance means to control and maintain the service or the product offered by the company. Marinating quality is very important, as said by John Ruskin. The activities of quality control involve all the procedures necessary to match the customers' demand, while designing the product or service. In the case of product development, the quality assurance manager takes care of the development, designing, implementation, installing and servicing.

The main objectives of the quality assurance department are:

•    Continuously inspecting the process of implementation, development and maintenance.

•    According the rules and regulation of the company controlling the quality of service or product.

•    Creating and maintaining the internal audit of quality assurance.

•    Establishing the arrangements to improve the quality of product provided.

•    Performing the preventive and corrective actions of quality management.

•    Supervising the production processes and equipments.

•    Taking actions on customers' claims.

The quality assurance manager is also responsible for coordinating and synchronizing the various departments of the company and inspecting the efficiency and productivity.

•    Your first step should be registering your profile/resume to different job portals. Remember to login daily and update your resume often.

•    You can also contact any human resource services or job agents. These job agencies will charge you a nominal fee and shall provide you lot of opportunities. So paying them a little fee is worth it.

•    If your ambition is to become a quality assurance manager in a reputed business organization then you must have necessary qualification along with the job experience. Normally, companies are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a quality assurance manager junior manager or as a super visionary.

•    Find out the right company for you. Some companies want you to have additional qualifications such as certifications and licenses.

•    You must have knowledge of preparing and managing the system audits and performance, as they are the most important part of maintaining quality assurance.

•    You must have knowledge about all the quality management standards worldwide such as ISO 9001 and ISO 9000. These standards are acknowledged globally to certify the efficient running of a company. Most probably while you appear for an interview for the post of quality assurance manager, the interviewee wants you to have in-depth knowledge about all ISO standards and regulations. •    Spread your knowledge about various agencies related to quality assurance. OSHA, Occupational Safety and Health Administration is a federal agency in the United States of America which inspects about all the necessary standards of safety at the work place. As a quality assurance manager it is your duty and responsibility to take care of such security standards. You can check the agencies to get more knowledge about the standards.
